Social & Development Alliance
Coming together to help each other—with dignity, compassion and interest-free support.
SDA brings people and communities together to support families facing genuine financial hardship through Qarz-e-Hasana and charitable welfare initiatives.
A community built on mutual care.
Social & Development Alliance (SDA) is a Shariah-compliant social welfare initiative of Darul Khair. It works to strengthen community cooperation, promote financial inclusion and help people meet genuine needs without the burden of interest.
Members, volunteers, local mosques and community institutions play a part in connecting deserving applicants with responsible, verified assistance.
Our purpose is to serve humanity, support basic needs, strengthen unity and help families move away from interest-based borrowing.
Support that strengthens the community.
Qarz-e-Hasana
Interest-free financial assistance for genuine needs. Borrowers return the original amount according to the agreed repayment schedule, without interest, penalties or hidden charges.
Verified assistance
Applicant documents, references or guarantors, and community verification help protect charitable funds and ensure support reaches people who genuinely need it.
Collective welfare
Voluntary membership, donations and community participation build a stronger network of support for financial inclusion, self-employment and local development.

Support from Ahle Khair. The generous support of Ahle Khair—our well-wishers and charitable supporters—plays a vital role in strengthening SDA’s Qarz-e-Hasana system. Their voluntary contributions help sustain interest-free assistance and strengthen the project’s capacity to support people facing genuine financial hardship. Together, this shared commitment builds a stronger foundation of compassion, cooperation and dignity.
